Hackers Attack LOT Polish Airlines

Due to a cyber attack on LOT computer systems (Polish Airlines), multiple flights have been postponed and LOT grounded more than 1400 passengers at Warsaw’s Frederic Chopin Airport. According to official statement the attack occurred at 4:00 pm local time and targeted the airline’s ground operations system. LOT spokesman Adrian Kubicki reported that this is the first cyber attack on their company.

LOT had to postpone 12 flights, because company was unable to register passengers. Fixing security incident took more than 5 hours. Polish security agencies are investigating the issue.
